Prerequisite - Intro to Flameworking or equivalent experience

Learn how to make chain in boro glass!

In this intermediate one day class, students will explore making chain using boro glass rods. The focus for this class will be on creating basic chains by melting clear rods of boro glass in a small torch.  We will discuss using textures, different shapes, and colours to make your chain unique. 

Open to anyone with basic flameworking skills.   Must have taken a beginner class, private lesson, or equivalent.  Please contact us if unsure of experience.  All materials are included.

About the Instructor

Julie Coster started melting glass in 2012 when TCGC first opened. She has taken dozens of classes in glass both at TCGC and at Pilchuck Glass School. She enjoys both flameworking and glassblowing and has found melting glass to be a vitamin for her soul. She is passionate about sharing the magic and joy of glass with her students.
